- Anodic printing: Anodic printing subsurface is produced by anodising aluminium. Once anodised, the surface becomes oxidised with a microscopic honeycomb surface. This allows an organic printing ink to be applied to the surface through a silk screen printing of text, design and other features. Once printing is complete the aluminium is sealed on the oxidised surface. All the printing is inside a hard, transparent surface.
- Chemical etching: Chemical etching is ideal for large quantity repetitive work or very fine line work like crests. We can leave the background perfectly smooth, with no nasty cutter marks, or fill it with enamel.
Materials worked on include brass, bronze, copper and stainless steel.
- Computerised engraving and milling: CNC engraving and milling is ideal for traffolite labels, logos, dividing & calibrating large or small quantity label work, control panels just engraved or manufactured complete.
We can make memorial plaques, logo plaques and commemorative plaques.
All the above can be mounted on hard wood plinths, if required.
Materials: some metals, all plastics
- Control panels: Control panels free issue or manufactured complete. All holes and cut-outs are precision machined by CNC machines. If made of aluminium, they can be anodised and anodically printed or engraved or printed with catalyst 2 pack ink. All to your specific requirements. Other materials can be used such as brass, perspex, industrial laminated materials, PVC polycarbonate and stainless steel.
- Heavy duty machine engraving: Control panels free issue or manufactured complete.
- Laser engraving and cutting
- Overlays: Polycarbonate is one of the best materials to use for overlays. It comes in various thicknesses, mark resist or gloss front face. All printing on rear face, multi-colour logos etc. then background flooded in 1 colour. All holes and cut-outs are precision punched, then self-adhesive backing is applied. Clear windows can be left if required.
- Specialist stainless steel engraving
- Stickers / health and safety: Various size and shapes made from vinyl with permanent or removable adhesive backing. Screenprinted to your design.
- Two pack epoxy printing: Two pack epoxy printing is an ink we use on a variety of surfaces ranging from painted finishes to metals, glass, plastics and ceramics.
It has excellent heat and chemical resistance which dries to a hard durable film. This can be either full gloss, semi or a matt finish depending on the catalyst used.
A rapid turnaround can also be achieved through stoving the print. This cuts the curing time dramatically.
We hold a large range of standard colours in stock but can also colour match to PANTONE, RAL or BS.
